Phoenix D vs. Flying Spiders Rematch

We are fortunate enough for our very own rich and prominent reporter, Lemnos, to swing by the Phoenix D’s locker room to ask some real important pregame questions. Let’s listen in.

Lemnos: The Phoenix D’s (nutz) shocked the NFL Blitz world last week with your shootout win over the East Coast Flying Spiders. What adjustments have you made from last week to ensure you trounce them again?

We just want to go out and trust our players to win individual matchups like they did last game, reduce backwards offensive plays and just keep moving down the field, as for defense, we just want to keep the ball in front of us and make good strong tackles. – Jeffster

Lemnos: Is there anyone on the East Coast Flying Spiders that has surprised you this season, either good or bad?

Irvine has come back with seemingly no rust, while it’s taken me 6 months to adjust to the new meta. Irvine seems to have come in even more dominant on offense than 16 years ago. His defense, he hawks all around the field and I really need to hit pp’s to win. – Jeffster

Lemnos: Your offense has improved throughout the season each game. It looks like you started to get some mojo once you – checks notes – realized plays can be called for an offensive game plan. How do you envision your offense evolving?

I mean it’s just weird that years ago I dominated with one letter “h” and you guys all had to have elaborate playbooks to even compete. Now the meta has changed, defense is tighter than it’s ever been, so these designed plays are a must to compete in the new meta especially in the redzone which is a very important area to capitalize. – Jeffster

Thanks coach for your time!
