Chat are they real?

NFL Blitz has been quite an interesting experience for a regular guy like me. With a wide range of unique personalities, egos and play styles for someone who doesn’t watch shows I’d have to give my award to our Discord for the best sitcom. Most recently, I got to experience a collective exercise in putting players into tiers. Me, I’m a proud Tier 5 player, the best of the worst, the biggest fish of the pond. For anyone reading this I think I’m a great value pick for the next upcoming draft. A great pairing for with a tier 5 and 4 like wine and cheese. Anyways enough about me. Recently during the tier list exercise I discovered there’s a few ghosts in our league. After a couple months of the league, I thought I knew them all but here’s some of the people I have yet had the fortune of running into.

This is the ghost of NFL Blitz.

J. Cutlr
I want to dedicate this article to the person who got me into Blitz. We miss Cutty. Please come back. Your children miss you.

C. Portis
Our first ghost is Portis. I thought CJ and Portis were the same person, but I have yet to run into him. Rumours say he’s never talks on voice chat, but I’ve never seen him in Blitz. There have been a few occasions where I see his name pop up in the Starcraft channel, but otherwise, he’s nothing but a floating figure.

Gurley
There’s a girl in Blitz? The DEI quota is being met? Have we spread our wings to welcome and become a more inclusive community? Of course not this is NFL Blitz. WCK tells he plays quite a bit, a fellow tier 5 player, but my male imagination prefers to believe there’s a girl that enjoys blitz like the rest of us.

I swear I saw him once and never again. This is the exact experience of interacting a ghost.

Phin
He just shows up for league games. I hear he’s T1 but I will never enjoy the presence of Phin. Have you ever seen Phin and Sin in the same room?

Kurt
Who?

Jeffster
I keep hearing stories about Jeffster QB, he even remained on the tier list. I personally want to see those stories come to life… just not on my team.

He’s around but he’s unreal. If NFL Blitz had an AI this would be him. He makes T5 look good, unbelievable.
